This Too Shall Pass

This Too Shall Pass

I am posting this as a gentle reminder to myself.  Things change, they always do, and we adapt.  These photos were taken approximately 24 hours apart.  A day of complete and utter break down.  Hey, it happens, why pretend it doesn't; the next day, it's gone.

Art Hop

Art Hop 1.6.12

King Tammy Reunion!!

This year started off with a BANG!!!  I had an art hop showing of photographs at Louie's Trophy House and Grill.  The post art hop show included a band comprised of former students, Brown Cow, and another group, King Tammy, made-up of old friends.  King Tammy have not performed in, I don't know how many years, they planned a surprise reunion show for my art hop.  It was a huge success and I can not tell you how extremely happy it made me.  The night was filled with friends and students, I couldn't have imagined it to be more perfect.

Power of 3

Power of 3

Oil painting.  The end of December and early January were filled with a lot of painting, photography and creativeness. I wish I could say the same for the present.  Perhaps just a little break is needed.  I have started a new photography class, maybe that will spark the creative fire and keep it going until spring.

Roots and Wings

Roots and Wings

The word I have chosen for 2012 (never make resolutions) is Courage.  Last year was a year in which I focused on many different things, and much to my surprise many of these things came to fruition.  Now reflecting back, what comes to mind is "be careful what you wish for".   Many changes, revelations and a possible mid-life crisis have opened my eyes to the fact that this year will need to be faced with courage.
