My Guilty Pleasure

...photographing flowers from my garden.  I'm well aware that flower photos can be very cliché, but they are so absolutely beautiful and intriguing, not to mention, such willing subjects.

I have made a choice to transition from being a vegetarian to eating clean.  This is a fabulous egg salad I am making for lunch.  Local eggs, local bacon, organic scallions, and homemade olive oil mayo...so incredibly delicious.

Window

One of the things I love about my house, among many, are the windows that open to the porch from the living and dining room.  A beach house feel in the city, lovely.

Lunch

It has been nearly a year since I have posted here, last year I could not keep up with the August Break (for the first time in three years). It is that time again, and here I am.
I believe that it was the list that kept me from completing it last year.  Limits and restrictions are difficult for me. Although, I know that the intention of the August Break is that there really are no rules.  With that being said, I will pick and chose the prompts from the list that fit, and many times I will veer off the path.
As for today, summer peaches for lunch it shall be.
