I'm not sure what has happened this summer
, I have been completely unmotivated. Usually I have a few projects on my agenda, which I manage to accomplish as well as fit in a bunch of fun activities and outings.

I have not been able to focus on, or complete, a couple of simple projects which I have had in mind since the beginning of the season, and these are things that I enjoy doing.

I have not been motivated to hop in the car and go to the beach, or the zoo, or even to the playground. What am I doing that is taking up my time? I'm not even sure.

Am I just stuck?

I feel like summer carries a lot of weight for teachers. it's the one opportunity a year for big open spaces of time. maybe this year you just needed to chill.

really love the shot. for having no idea what to shoot, you nailed it.

Hello! I found you through The August Break. I can empathize with your thoughts as I've been feeling the same way this summer. I agree with m5 and think we all need a time of quiet now and again. Maybe some spectacular things are brewing..

Your photos are gorgeous, as is your website!

I know what you mean. I've been there lately myself.

I found you through the habit of being. :)

thank you, all. I don't feel so bad now. Maybe things are just building up for a most excellent fall!

I have to agree with m5. This is the first time in a very long time that I've not taught a summer session (had the whole summer off). I found myself in a stuck spot way more that i'd hoped/thought i would. I've come to the conclusion that it is simply that there was too much I tried to pack into a short period of time. Anytime I do this, I do not know where all the time goes, and I end up doing far less of what I want to do.
